UX Designer & Creative Team Lead
Tech Elevator: Cleveland, Ohio
August 2022 - Present
Summary of what I do
Currently, I am the UX Designer for Tech Elevator. This nationally-ranked coding bootcamp is a 14 or 30-week program that elevates career-changers into Software Developers through teaching them how to code. My initial role as a digital designer quickly grew into UX Design to optimize for the company’s growth. Since starting in July of 2019, I have been in charge of redesigning the company’s website, serving as the company’s webmaster, generating all external and internal-facing collateral and, finally, managing the creative team for our organization.
The redesign of the website, and consequential updating of our CMS & tech stack has led to my ability to create easier conversion paths for measurement and evaluation, but most-importantly, overall optimized user experience. In early 2023, I recreated the entire web funnel for both our Consumer and Enterprise Businesses and created a guide for leadership for this new system which has led to clear tracking and demonstrated areas of excellence and improvement for the business.

"The key to pursuing excellence is to embrace an organic, long-term learning process, and not to live in a shell of static, safe mediocrity. Usually, growth comes at the expense of previous comfort or safety."

The Foundry: Cleveland, Ohio
July 2016 - July 2019
Following college, I began rowing as an elite athlete in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the summer of 2016. Following that summer, I was connected with another former athlete in my rowing circle who was the then Executive Director for The Foundry in Cleveland, Ohio. I was hired on as the Marketing and Design manager for this non-profit start-up and tasked with much as a recent grad!
During my time at The Foundry, I was responsible for:

“Harmony, balance, and rhythm. They’re the three things that stay with you your whole life. Without them civilization is out of whack. And that’s why an oarsman, when he goes out in life, he can fight it, he can handle life. That’s what he gets from rowing.”

Graphic Design Intern
Revolution3 Triathlon: Manassas, Virginia
Summer 2015
During the summer of my Junior year of college, I was the Graphic design intern for Rev3 Triathlon — a triathlon company based in Manassas, Virginia, responsible for putting on Triathlon events all over the United States.
While there, I gained knowledge in the production methods used in order to produce all marketing and design components of a triathlon race. Some of these tasks included: printing 500 personalized athlete cards — per race — for the transition area, shirt color separations, vehicle wraps, printing snow-fencing for finisher’s chute, race-specific banners for race-day implementation, and many other tasks. One of my most notable tasks that summer was using an industrial shirt printing machine to create over 5,000 shirts for races held throughout the country.
