What has taught me the greatest life lessons…?
I’ve been a team player ever since my U5 soccer league. An environment with great teamwork is one that I value and thrive in. I was a walk-on rower during my freshman year at Marietta College, having no experience in the sport. Embarking on this new, difficult, athletic endeavor was one of the most challenging, but rewarding things I’ve ever done.
College rowing is one of the best things that could ever have happened to me. This afforded me the incredible opportunity to row on the Arno when I studied abroad in Florence, Italy. After spending my four years in college as a Varsity athlete in the V8+, I was invited to row as an elite athlete in Philadelphia, PA on Boathouse Row for Vesper Boathouse’s U23 team in pursuit of the US Women’s National Team. Here, I had two, two hour practices, per day every day of the week. That summer, we went on to win Canadian Henley, and medal in countless other races.
Rowing has given me grit and teamwork skills unparalleled to any other experiences that I’ve ever had. These skills are some that I not only practice daily, but also challenge those I interact with to practice as well. Today, I am a coach for Case Western Reserve University’s Rowing Team.

but that’s not what ships are built for.
I currently live in Lakewood, Ohio with my husband, Zach and our two pups - Finn & Otto, both black lab mixes. We love the community of Lakewood and enjoy all that it has to offer. When not working, you’ll find me adventuring outdoors - likely at Cleveland Rowing Foundation rowing, coaching, or actively working on a community initiative as a member of the Board of Directors.
